FCM is a full-service, FNMA, HUD and VA approved national mortgage lending firm headquartered in Houston, Texas for over 27 years with locations in several states. We specialize in partnering with home builders as well as retail production.


FCM and/or its Affiliates is currently seeking highly motivated, qualified individuals to fulfill the role of Senior Mortgage Company Trainer.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Develop, edit, and maintain training curriculum, communication information, and materials
  • Collaborate with the COO and Production Managers to develop and enhance training curriculum and materials. Understand the goals and priorities of content and delivery
  • Conduct new hire onboarding training.
  • Maintain proficiency in creating and distributing training materials and information in a variety of media, including computer based, web based and classroom.
  • Facilitate training classes in a variety of methods, including self-study, webinar and face to face.
  • Ensure all participants attendance and results are recorded. Obtain and evaluate surveys/feedback from class participants and their managers to determine the effectiveness of the training given. Utilize feedback to determine and implement appropriate changes/additions to future training.
  • Maintain current knowledge of updated industry/company products / services and new training methods and techniques. Review updates and changes from various agencies and internal lending policy.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Mortgage Loan Encompass LOS System, and all other operating systems, i.e. Simple Nexus, Usherpa, Optimal Blue, and Lending Manager. Assist in hosting regularly scheduled webinars. Communicate updates and changes.
  • Support the credibility and professionalism of the training department by carefully proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and quality of content.
  • Travel via auto and air as needed to provide face to face training.



  •  Minimum of 5 years mortgage lending experience required
  • Must be able to train on Encompass loan origination system (LOS)
  • 2 or more years employee training experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
  • Optimal Blue and Simple Nexis experience a plus
